Sunday morning local radio broadcast...Winnie the Pooh and Tigger too!

Good Sunday morning to you all!  The picture above is A. A. Milne, the creator of Winnie the Pooh, and his son Christopher Robin.

A few weeks ago I wrote in a "Monday Reflections" blog post about a thought that came to me on a long trip home from Colorado.  If you read it, great!  If you didn't, now you will get to listen to it.  It will also be in our local newspaper next weekend.  There is a religion page that comes out each Saturday edition and with the rotation of clergy writers, I get to submit two articles a year.

Let me give the list here again so you can refer to it readily.  These are the characters that A. A. Milne gives us to work with.

1.  Winnie the Pooh - very optimistic - the dreamer

2.  Eeyore - very pessimistic - the doomsayer

3.  Piglet - an introvert - the fearful

4.  Tigger - an extrovert - the fearless

5.  Owl - an intellectual - the skeptic

6.  Rabbit - a legalist - the judge

7.  Kanga - a balanced parent - the guiding one

8.  Roo - a questioning child - the trusting one

9.  Christopher Robin - a leader who cares - the shepherd

10.  Heffalump - an enemy - the evil one

Take some time to evaluate who you are on this list.  It might be a combination.  Maybe you would benefit from having someone else's input for we do wear rose colored glasses at times.

The next step would be to determine who you need most to keep you balanced.  We need each other in this life and especially within the family of God.

I pray you have a great Sunday!

Adam
