Venturing into Black & White...

I got some black & white film so let me share a few with you.  I also have a story to tell at the end.  Here is Stephanie doing her thing with providing what we eat as much as we can.

Here is Evan and Andy respectively.  Evan is now 6 and a very studious boy and Andy is 4 and always creating something with his blocks that he wants you to see.

A little farther south and we have Joshua and Evelyn.  Joshua is a "get your hands dirty" kind of boy and Evelyn has made it to the "get into everything" stage.

A couple photos from church of our worship team at a practice getting ready for the next service and also our ever growing men's ministry at their 4th fall retreat.

Here is a great shot of a couple of brothers who get together for breakfast every Tuesday and Thursday.

The young lady in front of the window is our oldest, Anna, who is leading worship at a women's retreat in Texas.  We can't tell you how much it means to us that all of our children and their mates are serving the Lord.

We are going to need a bigger wall soon and there is Stephanie again boarding another mode of transportation to see some more of our precious ones.

The last picture is of a man named Jason.  I got permission to take his photo.  At the church we have many who seek out help as they are "passing through."  Jason was on his way back up to Minnesota from Florida.  He is a Veteran and served in Desert Storm as a cook.  After the tank was filled, we sat down at the local McDonald's for a burger and some conversation.  Jason wasn't to "up" on the world at the moment.  The restaurant was pretty quiet as I observed many were listening in on our conversation.  At one point he said to me very loudly, "It's a good thing you got Jesus."  I asked him to explain.  He said, "If we just had God, we would all be doomed but Jesus brings the love."  It wasn't the time for a theological discussion about the statement but it was a time to get this picture back at his car and spend some time praying for him and his travels.  Jason was an interruption in my day until I realized that I was a "Jesus" to him at the moment.  So here is another picture that will be on my desk wherever we go.  --Adam--
